OCIA – Order of  Christian Initiation of Adults

OCIA

The OCIA program is intended for adults who are interested in joining the Catholic Church.

Adults who are un-baptized (catechumens), or who were baptized in another Christian Community (candidates), qualify for the OCIA process. Participants in the OCIA program meet on Thursday evenings from September to May from 7:00-9:00 PM at St. Paul Catholic Church in North Canton. During each session the candidates and catechumens are instructed in the Traditions of the Catholic Faith. Through intellectual inquiry, communal prayer, and discussion, those who seek entrance into the Holy Catholic Church will learn how to live the Catholic Faith.
